How to Get Backrooms in Scary Shawarma Kiosk
The Backrooms is a hidden secret area in Scary Shawarma Kiosk: the ANOMALY — a surreal sub-level accessed behind the bus stop near your kiosk. Discovering it unlocks The Other Reality badge and provides one of the game's most memorable horror sequences. This guide explains every step from encountering the cross-eyed flashlight man to feeding the giant hand entity.
Step 1: Find the Cross-Eyed Man
During your shift, a cross-eyed man with a flashlight will appear as a customer. Serve him shawarma as you would any normal patron. After serving, he instructs you to follow him to the back of the bus stop. This NPC is the gateway to the Backrooms sequence — do not close the shutter on him.
Step 2: Locate the Marked Wall
Behind the bus stop, find the area on the concrete wall marked with blue tape. This tape marks the entrance to the Backrooms — the developers placed it so players can identify the correct spot. Enter through the marked opening. Warning: expect jump scares inside. Bringing a friend in multiplayer is strongly recommended.
Step 3: Navigate the Backrooms
Inside the Backrooms, you must find the correct path to a Shawarma Kiosk store within the liminal space. The environment is disorienting with yellow-tinted corridors and unsettling atmosphere. Search systematically rather than running blindly — wrong paths waste time and increase jump scare exposure.
Step 4: Gather Ingredients and Feed the Hand
Collect all required shawarma ingredients scattered through the Backrooms. Return to the store area and prepare a complete shawarma. A giant hand entity will appear — feed it the shawarma you made. After the hand consumes your food, you can return to the main game area and continue your shift.
Rewards and Tips
Completing the Backrooms sequence unlocks the The Other Reality badge. This secret content is optional and does not affect your shift quota or ending, but collectors should prioritize it. For main shift survival skills, continue with our how to play guide and anomaly reference.
